Pay for bandwidth. Not for surprises.
Requests, TLS certificates, HTTP/3, cache purges, edge functions and DDoS mitigation are included on every plan, including the free one. What you pay for is the gigabytes you deliver, at a rate that is published rather than negotiated.

Every region's price, on the page
Delivery costs differ by region because transit and peering costs differ by region. We publish the difference instead of blending it into a number that only makes sense for one of you.

Prices per GB delivered, USD, billed on actual usage in each region. Rates shown are illustrative placeholders for this design.
The line items other vendors charge for
Every one of these is metered somewhere in this industry. None of them is billed here, on any plan — the free tier's 10 M requests a month is an allowance, not a per-request charge. Charging for these changes how customers configure their edge, and always for the worse.
The things that show up on invoice day
Overage bills at your committed per-GB rate, not at list price and not at a penalty multiple. A campaign that goes viral costs you more bandwidth and nothing else — no renegotiation, no retroactive tier change, no throttling.
No. Traffic classified as an attack and dropped at the edge is excluded from billable usage on every plan. You can see exactly what was excluded, and why, in the security analytics view.
Bytes delivered from the edge to the client, measured at the PoP, summed per region over the calendar month. We do not bill 95th-percentile, we do not bill origin fetches separately, and compressed responses are billed at their compressed size.
Yes. Enterprise commits are a single dollar amount drawn down at each region's rate, so you are not forecasting a per-region split twelve months ahead of a product launch.
No. Config translation from your current vendor, the staged cutover and the side-by-side RUM comparison are done by our solutions team at no charge, on every paid plan. If the numbers do not beat what you have, you have lost a CNAME change and a week.
